Rispecia: Approaching the Renewable Energy Systems

The following methods have been used

  • theoretical approach: distribution of information material, organization of technological paths addressed to schools, seminars and meetings to awake people about the best European RE technologies, energy saving data about RES using, RES companies addresses;
  • practical approach: exhibition are a useful mean to show what are the newest technological models and how they work. Theoretical data will be supported by practical demonstrations.

Developed activities

Project scheme:

  • organization of two meetings/workshops addressed to secondary schools of Grosseto province:
    students have been invited to start a sort of programme consisting in a theoretical and a practical part.
    Experts on RES informed students about the newest technologies concerning RE and then the group visited a technological exhibition made by “Legambiente’s National Centre for Renewable Energy Sources”. The exhibition consists in small scale models that explain how the natural elements (sun, wind, water, etc) can be used for heating, cooling and generating electricity. Small scale prototypes show how the different RES work.
  • organization of an informative campaign on renewable energy technologies in 5 shopping malls of the city.
  • drafting, printing and distribution of informative material and distribution to students and citizens;
  • press launches to disseminate the results of the project supported the campaign.
